A New Year is Coming!

Christmas is now over and we’ve probably all eaten too much, spent too much and had plenty of time with family, both close and extended which may have gone well or not so well.  As the calendar turns over to a new year,  it is a natural time to take a look at your life and set goals.  What is going well, and  what could use some tuning up or change?  It’s common in January to look at exercise or eating programs and make some changes, but how about your emotional or relational life?   Is it time to do something about that too frequent irritability, anxiety or depression?  How about that nagging sense of discontent with who you are?  Perhaps this is the year that it’s finally time to stop living with the effects of childhood abuse or PTSD from a car accident, or other trauma. EMDR is a highly researched mode of therapy that quickly and effectively addresses PTSD and trauma.   How content are you with your marriage?  Marriage counseling consistently shows an increased level of satisfaction with a marriage.  Perhaps this is the year to make a whole person makeover!
